Founder & Senior Counsel
Dan Stidham has practiced law since 1988 and brings more than three decades of legal experience to his work with clients. Born in Chicago, Illinois, to Troy and Eva Stidham, Dan moved with his family to Northeast Arkansas at the age of four. As the first member of his family to attend college, he earned his undergraduate degree from Arkansas State University and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Arkansas.
Dan founded Stidham Law Firm in 1988, initially practicing criminal defense, general litigation, and estate planning. In 1993, his career took a defining turn when he was appointed counsel for Jesse Misskelley Jr. in the West Memphis Three murder case. For the next 18 years, Dan devoted himself to securing justice for his wrongfully accused and wrongfully convicted client—an experience that profoundly shaped both his professional and personal life. He has since documented this journey in his book, Harvest of Innocence: The Untold Story of the West Memphis Three Murder Case.
During this same period, Dan was elected District Court Judge and served in that role for 25 years, presiding over thousands of cases and earning a reputation for fairness, integrity, and sound judgment.
Today, Dan focuses his practice primarily on estate planning and asset protection, helping individuals and families preserve their legacies against healthcare costs, unnecessary taxation, and other financial threats. Working alongside his son Daniel, a financial advisor, and Nicolas Corry, a tax attorney, Stidham Law Firm offers a truly multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning—bringing together legal, financial, and tax expertise to create comprehensive, forward-thinking solutions.
Dan is the proud father of four children and grandfather of seven grandchildren. He is especially grateful to work each day with his son Daniel and his daughter-in-law Angie, the firm’s Legal Operations Manager.

At Stidham Law Firm, Olivea Jett represents the next generation of driven, multidimensional legal professionals.
A proud alumna of Arkansas State University, Olivea earned dual degrees in Criminology (B.A.) and Psychology (B.S.), equipping her with both a deep understanding of the justice system and keen insight into human behavior. By the time she completed high school, she had transitioned into a full-time role, developing the maturity, technical knowledge, and client-centered approach that continues to define her work today.
Beyond her academic and professional accomplishments, Olivea’s discipline is equally evident in her athletic career. She is a 44 kg National Record holder and the Women’s 44KG World Champion with the International Powerlifting League, where she recently set 12 World Records in a single competition. The same focus, resilience, and relentless preparation that fuel her performance on the platform are reflected in her dedication to serving clients with excellence.
Driven, analytical, and deeply compassionate, Olivea brings uncommon perspective and energy to Stidham Law Firm. Her blend of financial expertise, legal ambition, and competitive discipline uniquely positions her to make a lasting impact on every client she serves.
